Via Choralis is a mixed-voice community choir based on the Saanich Peninsula, just north of Victoria, BC. We always welcome new members; previous choral experience and music-reading ability are desirable but not compulsory. We perform an eclectic repertoire and make a point of including Canadian works in all our concerts. Our season usually comprises three programmes, in November, February and early May. The current Artistic Director is Jody Onuma.

Via Choralis was formed in 1999 by conductor Elizabeth Shannon and has been a presence on the Peninsula ever since, performing regularly several times a year, either on their own or in collaboration with many other groups and individuals from Greater Victoria, including the Sidney Classical Orchestra, Viva Youth Voices, Hexaphone, fiddler Ivonne Hernandez, the DieMahler String Quartet, and the Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.
